NATURAL HAIR STYLER

I shared this recipe in my Instagram stories a little while ago, but I got feedback and it's a winner! Cam reckons 'medium hold' is accurate.
It's a similar recipe and method to my deodorant, but minus the dry ingredients.

Recipe:
15g beeswax pellets
20g shea butter
30ml jojoba oil
10-15 drops essential oils

Method:
Melt 15g of beeswax pellets in a double boiler/heat proof bowl in a saucepan over low-medium heat.
Add 20g of shea butter until melted.
Take the bowl off heat and add 30ml jojoba oil (the cold jojoba will semi-set the mixture, so just stir it in and it will warm up and combine). This should make it a nice temp ready to add your essential oils
Add up to 10-15 drops of your essential oils of choice
Pour into a 50ml glass jar or tin (it will start to set quickly so move fast!)

I would recommend:
đź’§Tea Tree - healthy scalp
đź’§Rosemary - great for hair health and growth
đź’§Peppermint - smells amazing
đź’§Wild Orange - smells amazing and Cam likes citrus
But you could totally customise this and use your own choice of oils.
Jojoba is also great for hair and scalp health and doesn't leave an oily residue.

This mixture is more like a balm than a gel, so take a small amount in your hand, rub together to warm it up, and style your hair! Not just for the boys either, this is also for the girls who need a bit of hold in their hair instead of hairspray.

I would love to hear how you go with this one!
